The Solar Dynamics Observatory is an incredible image factory.

NASA's spacecraft stares at the sun and sends home amazing images of the sun captured in light across the electromagnetic spectrum.

This time-lapse clip of our star weaves together 17,000 SDO images taken in 4K. (It amounts to 72 GB of data, if you're curious.)
