Der Schwarm by Frank Schätzing (The Swarm) is a very different science fiction story that takes the reader to “the bottom” of our planet. The story is interesting from the first to the last page. The character development is limited but perfect for the story itself and it makes it an easy read. The setting is well developed and “one” doesn’t have to be an expert on marine life to follow the story. I definitely recommend this book to anyone.
